Just Keep Winning, Just Keep Winning.
Los Angeles is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World". This year, it can also be called the baseball capital of the world. The Los Angeles Dodgers have posted a 64-29 record; the best in the MLB. The Dodgers have won 9 of their last 10 games. In 5 of those wins the Dodgers have scored 5 or more runs. It is no wonder that experts are already making bids on the Dodgers meeting the best team in the AL; the Houston Astros in the World Series. They have had 3 consecutive series sweeps of the Diamondbacks, Royals, and Marlins. Two reasons why the Dodgers are staying red hot is with their Home Run Derby participant Cody Bellinger, and shortstop Cory Seager. On Saturday, Bellinger went 4-5 hitting for the cycle with 3 RBI and 2 runs against Miami. Overall, Bellinger this season has had a BA of .268 and 26 home runs with 61 RBI.
With the amazing pitching of Clayton Kershaw along with the help of Seager and Bellinger, the Dodgers don't seem to stop winning anytime soon. If they keep winning, the Dodgers will be on pace to have an insurmountable 133-29 record. But that does not mean that they will win it all. As of now the four other Postseason teams in the NL are Washington, Milwaukee, Arizona, and Colorado. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dodgers' 2017 NLDS matchup ended up being either one of their NL West foes; the Diamondbacks, or Rockies. The Dodgers may be a red hot team right now winning 9 of their last 10, but once they reach the Postseason it is win or go home and anything can happen.
